Final Fantasy: The Last Dream

Since the other rp isn't really going anywhere here is a new one:

All the continents through out the series of Final Fantasy have been (and for quite some time) merged into one world for easier travel in between the continents. As for the plot, as this roleplay progresses through out time, plots will be created and carried out through the players. However, let's try to be a bit creative, and come up with plots and ideas that can involve all characters in the story. If you have even the slightest doubt on whether or not your plot might be permitted, contact me via PM or Instant Messenger and wait for my approval.

* No God-modding or auto-hitting.

* This is meant to be a literate roleplay, meaning I want correct grammar and punctuation (or as close as possible) and use quotation marks when speaking in character and italics for thought, in fact just write like your character is in a book. I also don't want to see your posts flooded with typos. Your posts MUST be at least 1/2 full lines of text.

Example of bad rp speak:

*picks you up and throws u across da table* thats what you get when you mess wit me

Example of good rp speak:

Hiro picked [insert random generic name] and threw [insert random generic name] across the table. "That's what you get when you mess with me" Hiro said striking a pose.

If you are more specific then it will be easier to understand than just saying you

* Use either (( )), [[ ]], {{ }}, or something of the sort when speaking in OOC- Out of Character.

* Try and keep OOC to a minimum. If by chance you come into an argument with another user, please take it to PMs until an OOC thread is made. If you must, consult me to try and solve a problem.

* Listen to the moderators and I. In here, our word is law.

* Be respectful to other players; no flaming.

* Don't ignore others and if you see that someone is roleplaying alone, roleplay with them! We want to make everyone feel welcomed here.

* Either I, or any other moderator has the full right to ban any user from this RP at any given time, should they see the need and/or proper reason to do so. Rules are also subject to change, so check back every now and then.

* If you are going to make it so that your character has a serious relation to an original from the Final Fantasy series. (Long lost brother or sister, daughter, son, cousin, old or current boyfriend or girlfriend, etc.) PM the person or tell the person so they will know, instead of springing up on someone, it can make it difficult for the person playing that original and it's just too much of a hassle. Sorry.

* In here, killing is allowed without the user's consent so long as it is done legally, meaning the kill had made sense and that it was fair without god modding. You also cannot auto-kill, and I will not tolerate instant kill spells or moves such as Doom in this roleplay.

Note: If any of the moderators or I see a violation (by purpose or accidental) to these rules, we'll let that person know. The maximum amount of warnings you'll recieve is three. Should you continue to violate the rules, you will then be banned from the RP and from that moment on, ignored. If you continue to post after being banned from the RP, you will be reported.

* For your race, you may be a human, Shinra experiment, moogle, etc. However, no hack characters that have every ability imaginable
* Your occupation can also be your class.
* Your personality, and your history are optional. However for your history, you may not automatically be someone of great importance, as harsh as it sounds. Meaning, I don't want OCs or "made-up" characters automatically starting off the roleplay as princesses, princes, kings, what have you.
* Don't have too many abilities, and at the very least, make sure they aren't all powerful and have some sort of flaw or limit to each of them.
* You MUST have at least two weaknesses whether they be physical, metal, or emotional.

I wake up a little bit late. shower, dont shave. too lazy. manipulate wind to do my hair for me. throw on some clothes and walk downstairs.
"where were you?" danika asks irritated, "we've been open for 4 hours!"
"i kno i kno." i try to hush her. "but its 10 o clock. now. ill watch the front desk, you go ahead and take your break." she smiles slightly. i grimace. "what?" i groan.
"its your turn to do the dishes." she sang.
a slight smile cracked on my face. im glad thats all it was and it wasnt something like we have a wedding party coming in in the next half hour. she skips off down the hall and into the kitchen, where she usually takes her breaks. sampling some of the cookie dough, eating a slice of cake. she loved pestering the cooks. if she wasnt doing that she was reading a book. i walked to the bar and made sure everything was clean. no customers yet, it looked like. we had two people staying here already. they must have eaten already. there were a few dishes sitting on the tables. one with a few crumbs and what looked like a few drops of jam. the other had a half eaten bagel. i picked them up and walked them to the kitchen and set them in the sink.
dani was doing her thing again. our chef was in a frenzy, chasing her up and down the kitchen. her lips were redder than before. i then noticed the strawberry pastries Shim, or chef, was cooking. his frantic face and her playful one made a smile break on mine.
i'll clean the dishes when shes off her break. i walked back to the front desk, still smiling, and waited.

A young man busted into the bed and breakfast, wearing a straw hat and a cloak, he walked up to the front desk and pulled his straw hat up a bit to show his eyes before smirking, he glared at the man before saying: 'Hey ojii-san, is there any jobs available for me to work as I need to make some extra money before continuing travelling I wasted everything my parents gave me...' The teenager looked down in shame and twiddled with his thumbs shyly, even after that grand entrance he was still just an immature 13 year old boy. 'By the way my name is Hiro Inazuma, if you want I could be a body guard or be security around here! I NEED A JOB!'

"bodyguard? for a bed and breakfast?" I was startled. not much startles me. but that grand entrance. hell i thought i was gonna have to cut the kid in half for a second. but what shocked me even more was his sad shamed face. im sure the kids just tryin to play me into givin him a job. I regain my composure and look the kid in the eyes. "sorry no jobs here at the moment. however your going to need to pay me back for the busted door. and since you have no money you'll just have to work it off. im sure i can find something for you to do around here." I sighed. im always a sucker for helpless kids. bastard. plus the chef could use a break. "just as long as you can be relatively quiet. dont wake up the customers. dont harrass any one. common sense stuff. you can do that right?"

"But I didn't bust the door down! I swear it was the wind! But I'll take the job anyway! I'm a people person so maybe I can work in the bar?!" Hiro thought as he turned around and waved his arms frantically and immaturely, he knew he broke the door but didn't want to admit it. However if he worked in the bar it would be easier to make money off of something like tips. "I have an idea! You could make a tour service where you rent a small airship and I take the customers for a tour around the city!" Hiro shouted enthusiastically, he was already making ideas for the B&B despite him just meeting the owner.

"and where am i gonna get the money to buy this airship?" i inquire, "and your way too young to handle the alcohol. maybe you can be a bus boy?" OOC: who is with you? "or maybe you can dress up in a costume and try to get ppl to come here?"

"I have an idea! During the day you can turn the bar into a cosplay cafe! It's really popular these days especially around places like these!" Hiro said ignoring the mans suggestions and just continuing to make ideas, he didn't want no average job, he wanted a cool exciting one. "And each bus boy or waitress could wear a costume to do with a certain theme, like one theme could be princesses and knights and I know a cheap costume shop with quality costumes!" Hiro was a visionary, has been since the day he was born he could imagine the idea in his head so vividly his dull expression turning into bursts of creativity.

"I like it" danika said, bubbly as ever. I didnt see her pop through the kitchen, but apparently she was listening. "i can make the costumes from Ad's old clothes!" apparently the idea was genius to her. this kid could be trouble. but shes happy, so i guess i will be too.
"fine," i grunted with a smile, "cosplay cafe it is."

"Well what may I call this epitome of beauty and elegance, I am honoured to even be in your presence." Hiro said like a gentlemen as he turned the charm on, he got on one knee and taking Danika by the hand he kissed the back of her hand. "Miss, I have no idea why a beauty like you should be trapped in this castle, you be flaunting your beauty and showing it to the world...it is like trapping a delicate rose in a cupboard..." Hiro said romantically as he acted like a complete gentlemen, he was a great actor, acting like a gentleman was nothing.

"Er...what..." Hiro's jaw dropped his face full of confusion usually when he puts on the charm the girls are swept from their feet and this girl just answers that she is going to dress me up as a moogle...he smirked and simply said: "It seems as though the rose cannot appreciate the beholder as the beholder appreciates the rose...anyway how much does the job pay and how much was the door...O-j-ii-san?"

A young girl entered the B&B wearing a bleu dress and a blue drop necklace, she was a stranger to this town. She stared at the 13 years old kid trying to act like a gentelman and smiled "what a cute boy..." and then approched " um... can anyone help me to find my way in this town, I'm an outsider and I need a place to sleep, I heard I can fined a room here ... my name is Mizumi "
She's a 14 years old girl with baby bleu eyes, fine white skin, and a thin body ...
her story is simple, she was orphin and ran away from the orphanage... She always beleived her parents weren't dead so she decided to go search for them ... Snd it has been 2 years and she still didn't succeed.

"That face, the name...could it be...?" Hiro said quietly as he looked in his pocket for a paper, he examined it closely before turning to Mizumi and drawing his katana swiftly, pointing it at her without hesitation. "Mizumi-chan! You have a bounty on your head for 1'000 gold from the orphanage you ran away from, they say they want you alive but force can be used to take you back...so the easy way or the hard way?!" Hiro said his tone of voice changing from the light hearted sounding calm voice to a deep, serious voice, his eyes were cold and relentless showing no fear. Mizumi-chan I have searched Ivalice to find you and have checked countless bars on information...how lucky was it that you would walk straight into my clutches?!

mizumi frowned and stared at hiro " 1000 heh??? i see ... yes i am the person u were looking for, i ran away that's true ... i hope u can understand me, i have to find my parents, i know they're still alive... i'm not going back, and there's nothing u can do to stop me."
she turne her back and was getting ready to leave this missfortune place while saying "i won't go, i have to find them ..."

"I can understand what it feels like to away from your parents for so long, when I was 7 I was taken away from my parents and raised as a SOLDIER against my will but...your story is no concern of mine!" Hiro shouted as he shrugged off his feelings, he then quickly leaped over Mizumi and stood in front of the exit with the tip of his blade touching her nose, in the world where poverty is around the corner you have to throw away your feelings to live, that is exactly what Hiro had learnt and that was how he learnt to survive. "In this poverty stricken world, where the rich live happy lives and the poor have to work to the bone just to survive, do you think I care about your problems?! I have my own problems and that is surviving! My parents are at home, I left them to travel the world and when I did I promised my father that I will not come home until I had filled this stupid book of mine and made my story! I cannot go home until my story is complete and if I have to make a gap between you and where your parents are, I will gladly do it...you may think I am selfish but this world has made me this way...one day when my journey is complete I'll change this world to be a better place but until them I will survive at all means necessary do you understand me?! Now is it going to be the easy way or the high way" Hiro shouted as he waved the journal around, so far only 5 pages out of 100 had been filled out and it wasn't like he could simply just write it like a normal journal, the journal was imbued with a magick that recorded the life of the user and it could not be written in.

mizumi closed her eyes and took a deep breath " if this is how it's gonna be... then i'll choose the hard way ... but i hopw we can go outside, i don't wanna ruin this lovely and missfortune place", then she oppened her eyes went outside and waited for hiro. When he arrived, her eyes met his then slowly she lifted her hands as if she's lifting something, suddenly water appeared on her palms " are u ready?"

"Hmph...foolish" Hiro said smirking as he put his hand in his pocket and took out 3 yellow orbs called Lightning Materia, he then placed them inside his arm by absorbing the materia through his skin, his eyes glowed azure blue and he disappeared due to moving at high speed, he reappeared behind Mizumi and touched her shoulder before whispering in her ear: "Thundaga, paralyzing strike!" Hiro attempted to paralyze her using electricity, he didn't want to hurt her too much but if she continued he would have to break her legs just to immobilize her.

when hiro disappeared, mizumi quickly closed her eyes and concentrated, she noticed that hiro was behind her and quickly she attacked hiom using water to throw him to the wall
"i'm gonna try my best not to loose even if u were a lightening user !!" then shee summonded some power and attacked again to keep him away from her so she can plan her next move

"Shi..." Before completing his sentence Hiro leapt away to avoid the 1st water attack, he landed on the wall and using his energy to hold him to the wall he waited for the 2nd water attack to come after him before leaping towards the water and cutting through it using his katana as a medium to conduct the lightning to pierce through the water straight towards Mizumi to stop her from being able to think about her next move. "You think I was taken by Shin-ra and came back so weak I couldn't beat a little orphan girl!"

[Ataraxia]

Vivien's hopes of having a peaceful meal were dashed as she made her way downstairs only to notice the brawl going on outside. Having only had a few hours of sleep the previous night, her being cranky was an understatement. She inwardly groaned at the sight of the two children causing a ruckus and scanned the room. All eyes were on the pair, but nobody moved,

"Christ, you lot are absolutely pathetic!" She cried, as she stormed over the entrance and kicked the door open, not caring that she just missed whacking a man in the face with her outburst.

"HEY. YOU TWO. CUT THAT OUT." Vivien honestly didn't think they'd listen to her, but she was prepared to stop them by any means necessary. Too bad she left her daggers upstairs in her room...

Hiro stopped during the middle of his attack stood and turned to Vivien, who he smirked at before dashing towards her side and taking her hand like a gentlemen playing the same game he played with Danika, he got down on one knee and kissed the back of her hand looked into her eyes romantically. "Who is this beautiful flower that blooms during times of battle? The flower blooms and calms the hearts of the soldiers who stop fighting to admire the beauty God hath created, this flower was made to be protected and cherished....you my dear are that flower..." Hiro said quietly, with a calm tone, his eyes glistening in the daylight and the wind blowing his hair against his chocolate brown complexion, he sheathed his katana and stood to look at Vivien still holding her hand. "My dear if possible may you accompany me around my travels around the world? We could create a guild that will become the strongest in all of Ivalice...then with you as queen of the guild my hearts quest will be complete..."

"Vivien im so sorry about this." i looked apologetic to her, but turned to stare daggers at him. i can see mizumi's appearance from just seeing that i kno i have to take her in. "mizumi, theres a room upstairs. stay as long as u like. you. boy. get out of my sight. come near her again and ill be writing the last chapter in that book of yours." i look back at vivien "forgive me. consider your rent free for today."
danika just sighs as she eyes mizumi. she sees my carefree look that i have when i look at her and gets slightly jealous. though my sudden rage towards moogle kun startles her.
"and boy. if thats honestly what you think is waiting for you if and when you achieve wealth you will be sadly disappointed." i finish.

[Ataraxia]

"Hmm? What? Oh!" Vivien spluttered as Ad spoke, offering her free rent, "Don't be ridiculous Sir, it was I who acted rather violently towards your store, if anything, I should be the one to apologise." With that, she turned her attention back to the male whom grasped her hand in his. There was an awkward silence in the air after the young boy had finished his speech and Vivien sort of stared down at him over the rim of her glasses, not entirely sure on what to say. First of all, against all odds, the fight had actually stopped as per her wishes, and second of all... was this boy... flirting? Vivien deadpanned and snatched her hand back, confused as to whether to feel insulted that a child was wooing her, or to feel proud that she was able to "attract" someone of his age. Either way, it was strange enough and typical of her gender, Vivien blushed, much to her own dismay.

"Whoa, slow down, cowboy. You're ten years too early to be going around doing this sort of thing." She had decided that was the best thing to say, as opposed to the original, "Sorry kid, but you've got three seconds to put the width of this town as distance between us, because that's how long it's going to take for me mentally prepare myself to beat up a kid."

The idea was very tempting, Vivien had to admit. But she also had to admit the boy wasn't half bad and that it'd be a shame to permanently disfigure his face, and so she had settled for the former. Once the issue at hand was swiftly dealt with, Vivien proceeded to the next; his invitation. She dropped her hand on Hiro's head and ruffled his hair, making sure to apply notable pressure,

"Cut the corny crap, kiddo. If you're going to hit on someone, you're probably better off persuing that girl you were just fighting." Removing her hand again, she rested it comfortably on her waist and tilted her head at him, a playful gleam sparkled in her eyes. "Though I'm interested in your offer. The Garden hasn't been handing out missions lately since there's some turmoil with the higher-ups," Vivien then added in a low mutter, "Not like they'd send me anyway, the bastards."

"then atleast let me offer a free cup of coffee." I said, a smile playing across my lips, my hand ruffling the back of my hair. Though i'm happy it looks like shes going to stay and not run away from this...establishment, I probably shouldnt tell her that the kid was just hired and fired within minutes...

Danika skips over and grabs her hand and tries to pull her to come take a seat at a table, coffee already prepared.

another sigh escapes my lips. I scratch my stubble and sit down at the table. "So your a seed kid hmm? i had a friend who..."I begin to trail off. my smile dissappears. i pour myself a cup of coffee and set it down. "I need to shave and...stuff. watch the desk for me will you dani?" I start up the stairs. "And dont drink the coffee!" i hollered back down, poking my head slightly into view, a forced smile on my face. "you know it stunts your growth." back up the stairs to my room.

Danika frowned and sat down. she hates it when i make fun of her height. shes relatively short, compared to me atleast.

Danika: I drank the coffee anyways. i dont like the taste but doing what he tells me not to is more fun, even if he is just playing. "VIVI!" are you going to come sit?"

OOC: i think when i swith char ill just go <insert name here>: it makes more sense i think.

mizumi was silent all this tijme, then she decided that the fight is going to be postponed .. then she just made her way leaving everyone behind and asked danika for a room. Then she looked back at hiro "sorry kiddo, the fight is over for now", and smirked.
mizumi turned and bowed to her while apologizing for causing any disturbance.

Hiro stood up combed his hair with the comb he took out of his pocket and looked over to where Danika and Ad ran off to before drawing his sword again, dashing towards the stairs and leaping over Ad and pointed his katana at the Ad completely unafraid of him and his threats, his expression changed from the care free, flirty school boy to the expression a warrior that has seen his comrades murdered in front of his face. "Oiji-san if you plan to stop my mission, then I will cut every muscle in your body...shedding your blood to help me survive is nothing to me and I will do it on a seconds notice...do you understand me or do I have to make you understand...?" Hiro withdrew his sword from Ad's face and sheathed his sword before barging past Ad and walking downstairs to where Mizumi was, on the way he thought of an idea. "Mizumi-san I thought of an idea that could help both of us...I take you back to the orphanage, receive my payment and kidnap you later, disguised as a ninja...if you do that for me I will join you in the search for your parents...locating missing persons is something I'm really good at! Hiro smiled light heartedly and put his arm around Mizumi before asking: "So...is it a deal?!"

mizumi looed at hiro angrily "first, take ur hand off me .. or else... and second of all, i'm gonna have to think about ur idea, it's not quite a perfect one ^_^, but why are u trying to help me, i don't think i can trsut u after all !! and especially not after what u just did to this name guy." and then she turned to Ad "thanks sir for ur help btw".

"Or else...you're threatening me...?" Hiro's eyes glowed azure blue and he then hurled his katana to a lamp post outside, the lamp post was pierced, with the katana coming out the other side. "I only did that cos he threatened me, anyway I am a man of my word and I will help you if you help me anyway how hard can it be to break into an orphanage if a little orphan girl with no espionage training just waltzed out and hasn't been found until now?" Hiro asked smiling, raising his arms and holding his head in a relaxed position.

" who do u think i am kiddo XD!! well it seems u don't know me well!! u will later ... And for the record, it's hard to kidnap me from the orphanage i came from ;) hihi"
mizumi walked away while rubbing her hand on hiro's head.

I remove the air behind hiro, cause there to be a vaccuum launching him backwards into a wall. i do the same to a plate at the same time headin straight for where i kno his head is going to be. ooc: if you can deny this feel free, but i wanna see a really good reason as to how.
PS:as soon as u hit the wall, the plate hits u in the face. u dont have 1 millisecond to react.

Hiro quickly braced himself ready for impact, he put a couple of Support Materia into his legs to increase the strength in his legs and enhace his jumping height/speed he then waited until the wall came in contact with the leg at the back, as he went went closer to the wall he quickly threw his katana towards the plate and as he does it his leg hits the wall and Hiro then swiftly leaped off the wall towards his blade, as he was in mid air going towards his katana a shard of the plate cut Hiro across his arm making blood spew out. The sight of blood and the sharp pain made him lose balance and fall to the ground

mizumi noticed the fighting and got the idea to use it so she try can sneak out and go to her room

Vivien groaned over her cup of coffee, firmly deciding to ignore the fight completely this time around as another would most likely start. So instead, she focused her attention on Danika,

"Lovely weather today, isn't it?" She pondered mindlessly as she lifted the mug to her lips for another sip,. It was classic "water cooler" talk, but it would suffice, "I haven't seen weather this perfect in a while..."

I throw a dagger at hiro, draw my katana and walk towards him slowly. danika is watching the fight. "yeah sure sure.." she responds to vivien, a slight sense of fear in her voice. I cause a vacuum over hiros mouth. he can no longer breathe. [unless he "cuts through it with lightning?" what?]

@Hiro: cut through the vacuum? how is that possible? and yes. pokedex is still totally lame. -_- FFTA 1&2 are just a bunch of filler fights with about 25 actual plot driven points.

ooc: i can move it. but i have to focus. good for a single person battle. if some1 else came at me then it wouldnt really work. i guess if it was two on 1 i would have to really focus and i could do it, but then i couldnt even move. 3 is impossible. unless their in a wheel chair and i am downstairs. <<<not a nunally refference at all.

Hiro who was struggling for breath needed anything to distract Ad even just for a second, reached for his katana and searched in his pocket for lightning materia in his pockets before finding 3 fire materia, 5 lightning materia and 2 attack plus items. Not wanting to waste his materia, Hiro put 1 lightning materia into his katana and 1 fire materia into his arm, he thought: FIRA! PLEASE WORK! Before sending a jet of flames towards Ad, he picked up shards of the plate and threw it through the jet of flames to heaten to a burning temperature to keep Ad on his feet.

ooc: you sent flaming flames into my face, and was able to move fast enough to pic up plate shards and throw them fast enough so they could catch up with the fire, yet slow enough to super heat and become molten plate? just wanna make sure i got that straight.

Hiro said as he stood up from the ground holding his arm which was dripping with blood, he smiled at Mizumi, before sheathing his blade, he picked up a shoulder guard that he dropped and put it on his right shoulder before standing up and wrapping a piece of his cloth that he ripped off his clothes on his bleeding arm. "Hey, Oiji-san is there any pubs around here? I need to make some money..." He said turning to Ad and walking over to the door.
