Blade

Mamoru Hijikata (土方 護, Hijikata Mamoru)He is the protagonist of the story. Although he is completely blind, he was once a master at swordplay. To compensate for Mamoru's lost vision, Ikawa has developed a device with an outer appearance of a pair of sunglasses, that projects directly onto Mamoru's retina a rendered first-person view of Mamoru's surroundings in the fashion of a wire-frame model. Having learned many real-combat sword-fighting techniques, and with the newly-gained "sight," he is able to engage in direct combat with his opponents.

Haruka Tōyama (遠山 遥, Tōyama Haruka)She is the female leading character of the story. She possesses the ability to foresee the future, or more accurately, many possible future outcomes.


Ikawa (井川, Ikawa)Mamoru's teammate who mainly deals with the technical aspects of Blade's operations. Drives in a Chevrolet Astro (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Astro) modified with electronics and communications equipments, including a police scanner with the van being made bulletproof.

His sword is thin enough to pass through molecules. It has a mono molecular coating. Meaning...it can cut anything.

I recommend you read it. So far 8 volumes have been released. 23 chapters have been scanalated and over 68 has been translated. (just not scanalated)

The art is really awesome and the story seems to be interesting, however I will no rush things calling it the way you did (surely if the manga continue the way it is then is going to become one of the best I read ever).

Anyway, if everyone is looking for action and good drawings this is a must.

I gave it another go, it pretty awesome.Still , it would be even more awesome if he was a 100% asshole instead of 90%, the remark about putting him down if he goes wild again pissed me off (because 1: he would kick their asses and 2: moralfaggotry from people who kill other people = bullshit.)

Sephy...he's not really a hypocrite. He's getting paid to catch criminals. He doesn't see a difference between himself and them.

He has gotten mad and got ready to chop a person up. But that's because Samurai's have a weird sense of honor and usually--Haruka's involved.

What I like about him is, he stabs children. Shounen Heroes aren't made that way. The artwork is spectacular and the story is a good one. I like Hijikata the best...But there are other characters I like.

I wish there was a bigger interest. But I managed to show it to a 1,000 people and I am hoping it gets translated.

I wasn't too happy about fang when I saw him, now that its been translated I am enjoying it more. (I looked at the raws)

I have to post some images I had done and colored. I am hoping people see it and wear them.

Agreed. This guy was hyped up as one of the worlds greatest assassins and in the end it turns out he just uses robots that he controls from far away. Laaame! I hope he can be redeemed... with a slow and painfull death.

I won't spoil you. I wasn't happy about that fight either. I knew it coming because I have been reading it since December. I read the raws. It has 15 volumes or more. It just hasn't been translated. Mamoru so kick ass I enjoy and. Plus I am shipping him with the loli. So I am loving it.
