Grammar in Posts

It's been mentioned before and people have been asked to fix it, but now it's going to be enforced. As I've mentioned, I'm going to start deleting posts with horrible grammar. Many other staff members have agreed with me on this point. I felt it only fair to give you warning by posting this. If I have to delete many posts, I will start giving infractions. It's just disgusting to try to read. That's all.

OF course. We undestand that. As long as it's legible, it is probablly fine. We mean those posts where we can't understand anything and we tend to simply skip over it. Those are the ones that must go away.

yeah, but that's just one person though. Everyone has to comply with it. Whether it is met with harsh resistance is another matter.

Thank you. If you can get a word mostly spelled correctly, that's fine. My advice, use firefox's spell check in your typing. It'll help to show you what you have spelled right and wrong. And in time, through reading other people's posts, grammar and spelling can be picked up quite simply.

English is my third language. If I can do it, so can you. I'm not the only one. English is Alpha's third language as well. KnighTime's first language is Portuguese, that right?

This is a forum, a message board, not an MSN convo. You have the time to read over your posts, to correct spelling, to make it sound right. There is pretty much no excuse as to why you can be allowed to type in leet.

...and already it is starting to look better, thank God. Yes, the grammar and spelling from a few members has been getting rather frustrating, thank you to whomever(crimson/vahn?) came up with this...this will cause less of a headache in the future to read through the threads.

Well, this is something quite a few people have talked about for a while. I just took some form of action in trying to make it an enforced rule, which it will become in the our forum rules that the staff is working on.

either crimson or vahn works. I was known as crimson on BFF, where most of the members on here know me from, so, either one doesn't make a difference to me.
